She/Her

TAGLINE:

A calm, honest space to heal, grow, and do the work.

You should match with me if…

You’re ready to be honest—with yourself and with me. You are open to self-reflection, even if it’s uncomfortable, and willing to put in the work between sessions. If you’re craving a space that feels safe, real, and collaborative—you’ll likely feel right at home here.

Dating Me—I Mean, Working With Me—is Like:

Talking to someone who truly listens, but won’t let you hide from your own truth. It’s a mix of calm, curiosity, and the occasional reality check. Think: grounded conversations, real insight, and support that doesn’t sugarcoat.

Ask me anything about…

Setting boundaries, navigating anxiety or burnout, figuring out who you are (or who you’re becoming), and learning how to care for yourself without guilt.

My type (of client) is...

Someone who may feel stuck, anxious, burned out, or unsure of their next step—but still wants something more for themselves. Whether you’re the helper who never asks for help, or the one quietly holding it all in—I see you, and I’m here for you.

I’m passionate about…

Creating a safe, real space where clients can show up authentically and do the deep work that leads to lasting change. Guiding clients through life transitions, identity exploration, and self-compassion journeys lights me up—because I believe everyone deserves to feel grounded, seen, and empowered in their own skin.

FULL BIO:

I’m Alexis Hatch (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), originally from Chicago—Midwest baby! I take a warm, holistic, and down-to-earth approach. I blend techniques from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based practices. I’m also trained in trauma-informed care, including trauma-sensitive yoga and mindfulness, which helps support emotional regulation and reconnecting with your body after difficult experiences. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating big transitions, self-discovery, social media comparison, identity exploration, and burnout. Common focus areas include anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, communication issues, relationship stress, and finding a healthy work/life balance. Above all, I strive to create a brave, affirming space where you can show up as your full self, explore your story, and move forward with intention. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be a space to get curious, grow, and start feeling more you again.
